At Hamburgh Holidays, it is our mission to create meaningful and magical experiences for children and families throughout the holiday season. We are thrilled to announce that planning is underway for so many of the events that the Hamburg community has come to know and love, along with a few new ones, also! 📍 Main & Center → through the Village → Pleasant Ave
✨ Floats, music, and Santa himself leading the way—it’s the festive kickoff to the season! Families line Main Street each year to cheer, wave, and welcome the holidays together. Want to be part of the action? Register here.
🎬 Holiday Matinee
📍 Palace Theatre
✨ A free family-friendly holiday movie shown on the big screen. Grab your tickets in advance, bring the kids, and enjoy a cozy afternoon tradition together.
🎅 Christmas in the Village
📍 Throughout the Village • Star Lighting near Main Street Ice Cream
✨ Hop on the horse-draw carriage, explore Santa’s Workshop 🎁, and gather with neighbors as the annual Lighting of the Star brightens the night sky. A magical evening of lights, music, and holiday cheer.
🍳 Breakfast with Santa
📍 American Legion Post #527
✨ Pancakes + Santa = holiday smiles! 🥞🎅 Families gather for a hearty breakfast, face painting, and festive fun—all with Santa stopping by to say hello.
📚 Storywalk Hamburg
📍 Village sidewalks → Hamburg Public Library
✨ Take a winter stroll ❄️ through a children’s story displayed page by page along Village sidewalks. End your walk at the library to pick up a fun take-and-make craft.
⛪ Nativity Dedication
📍 Memorial Park
✨ A meaningful ceremony featuring carols and readings from local youth groups. After the dedication, warm up with cookies and hot cocoa shared among friends and neighbors.
📖 Stories with Santa
📍 Hamburg Public Library
✨ Santa & Mrs. Claus bring the magic to storytime 📚🎅. Kids gather at the library for holiday tales and a memory that lasts long after the season ends.
🎁 Santa’s Workshop
📍 Hamburg Village Square Plaza
✨ Santa’s Workshop opens its doors for children to share their wish lists and snap a photo with Santa. Free admission—don’t forget your camera! 📸
✨ Lighting of the Way
📍 Throughout the Village
✨ On Christmas Eve, residents light luminaries at the end of their driveways, creating a warm glow across Hamburg. A beautiful tradition that connects every neighborhood in the Village.
